Inspired by General Idea, Manipulating the Self (Phase 1 - A Borderline Case) print ad (see image below) in FILE MAGAZINE in 1970, this video responds to the question of authentic art making and the fine line between inspiration and appropriation, something the magazine was interested in during it's publication.
