Crescent Heights Village Days

Crescent Heights Community VILLAGE DAYS (June 1- July 1) celebrates the people and places in the Calgary inner-city community of Crescent Heights. The month-long festival encourages residents to build community connections and to develop the cultural identity of this diverse neighbourhood. www.villagedays.ca  

 

Events, gatherings, activities and creative projects are all organized by residents, businesses, and organizations based in Crescent Heights, Calgary.

As a resident and embedded artist in this neighbourhood, I was tasked with developing the engagement of this neighbourhood over the course of 2 years and tackling safety, connection, and isolation through multiple arts and cultural development initiatives. This festival is one of these examples.
